Creating Your Inventory with Chambers Residential Inventories
Our experienced staff will take a detailed inventory of
your property. We use digital dictation equipment and digital
photography to produce a unique document. It will describe your
property, the dcor, the condition, its contents from doorknobs to
teaspoons . Documents are clear and logical making them easy to
follow.
Once produced you will receive two copies, which are
bound for ease of use or if preferred, an emailed secure PDF copy.
Checking in with Chambers Residential Inventories protects your interests.
Once you have your professionally produced inventory it
makes sense to make best use of it by having tenants checked into the
property. On a check-in visit we take the new tenants through the
inventory line by line, agreeing any amendments where necessary, we
ensure the tenants sign the documents and they are witnessed by us. We
take meter readings and hand over the keys.
We produce a check-in
report detailing who attended, the meter readings taken, an overview of
the general condition, photographs and any other relevant information.
Copies can be sent to you or emailed as you wish.
Checking out with Chambers Residential Inventories ensures accuracy and independence.
At the end of the tenancy we return so there is an
independent check out. We check the original inventory and make a note
of any damage etc including the state of cleanliness. We take the final
meter readings and if the tenants attend we take them through our
findings and collect the keys from them.
We will deliver a report
which identifies any material changes since the inventory was taken. We
take digital photographs of damage etc and these will be embedded within
the check-out report document. This allows the Landlord and Tenant to
have a solid basis from which to agree any costs which may be incurred
following a tenancy. The reports will be sent to you or emailed.
